How to cook tasty Japanese Brown rice


1. Measuring

1 cup (180 ml) = 2 bowls
2 cups = 4 - 5 bowls
3 cups = 6 - 8 bowls

2. Washing

2 - 3 washes required. Rub the rice gently while washing

3. Water Level

Follow water level indicator or add around 1.5 times more water than rice.
(For every 1 cup add 270 ml of water)

4. Soaking

Soak rice for 4-6 hours before cooking to ensure softness in the cooked rice

5. Cooking

Use rice cooker for cooking. Once done, stir rice to let water evaporate before eating

6. Storage

Store the rice in the fridge to ensure freshness
